Very pleased with our accomodations and service at this rental. The apartment was well described on line and was better that I expected.Italy is known for smaller, effeciant spaces so we were expecting it to be smaller than it was.The kitchen was well equipted and all of the windows opened into a village square. The beach was less than a block from our room.We give it an 8 out of 10!

The appartment is right next to restaurants, shops, the beach and walking routes. It's also only a 10 minute walk to the train station to be able to go and enjoy the Cinque Terre. The owners are very helpful and friendly and even picked us up and dropped us off at the station when we arrived and departed which was great. The appartment has plenty of room and is nice and breezy although the bathroom is very small. The washing machine is a real bonus if you've been travelling for a few weeks as we had.

It's the location... one train stop from Monterosso so you don't have to stay right in cinque terre and still have immediate access. Beach amazing for its size and sandy instead of rocky like others here. Immediate access to shopping, groceries, good restaurants, not as isolated as villages. Casino at beach 5 min away offers bar, food, wifi, private beach. Wish our apartment had second bedroom instead of beds in separate area in kitchen...not ideal when only 1 couple gets proper bedroom and the other feels like they have no privacy. We shared 1 bathroom and that was okay. Liked our contact person. He picked us up from the train station late at night without any issues. Need to know: will pick you up morning of departure but if you want to use your credit card he needs to bring you to Villa Margherita to do transaction and he will not split the bill 50/50 (other couple paying half). Of course he'll take cash. We had two sets of keys, that was good.

The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very small.

This is a very spacious, renovated, and clean 3 bedroom apartment with equipped kitchen and a clothes washing machine in the historic old town. It has excellent sound proof windows. It is 1 1/2 blocks from the beach and a 10-15 walk to the train station. It is within walking distance to shops, a grocery store, bakery and many restaurants. It is a 6 minute train ride to Monterosso in Cinque Terre.

We stayed in the apartments for 6 nights and were very happy with basically everything. The apartments can fit 6 people, but it's more suitable for the family that couples, as there is only one proper bedroom, the other sleeping accomodation comes in the shapes of a large sofa and two single beds near the kitchen. It was ok for us, as my mum and grown up daughter slept on single beds, and our 3 year old slept on the sofa, and I and my husband took a bedroom, so everything was working great for us. There is a washing machine and dishwasher, which are a great bonus. Apartments located very centrally, everything is at the doorsteps, supermarket 3 min walk, bread shops, pasta shop, fruit/veggies shop, bars, restaurants, gelateria, children playground, literally everything is right there. The beach is only 5 min walk away, there are a private beach where you have to pay for sunbeds and facilities, and public beaches which are free to use. We always used a free public beach as they give you beach towels in the apartments, so it was very handy. So, if you travel as a big family and especially with the young kids - this is an ideal accomodation for you as it's so fantastically located. There was some noise coming from the restaurants on the street, but it didn't really bother us. The only problem you may have there it's an absence of Internet in the apartment, and if you work on Internet as I do, you will need to go to the bars outside to use it, or to the owners hotel Villa Margherita, which is 7-10 min walk away, so Internet could be handy, but it's something which can be easily found nearby, so I won't count it as a problem. So, overall, very nice place, great owners, will definitely be back one day.
Everything was good, we liked the place a lot.

We stayed at appartment of Villa Margherita in the center of the village. Wonderful view, near is park, square, restaurants, beach, really beautifully decorated rooms, you dont need to bring anything, not even food - wonderful focacceria around corner and restaurant,
There is nothing to dislike. Just beware, since the appartment (not the hotel itself) is in center, parking is really bad. I kind a missed microwave in kitchen, but used cook instead - no big deal. At the time we were there there was small concert in park. We really liked it but if you want to go to sleep earlier it will not be as easy if there is concert in park.

Excellent service, phone contacts, even picked us up from the train station, also came and helped with TV. Apartment was 10 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from the beach, a further 3 minutes to supermarket. The apartment itself was stylish and modern. It had separate bedroom, kitchen had all utensils etc. and included a washing machine. Balconies with water glimpses. A perfectly positioned place from which to access the Cinque Terre or just a seaside vacation.
The only slight drawback is that lounge area is a little small

It is a wonderful location, and terrific for a family or group of 6 travelers. It was clean, and the host was extremely helpful. We loved the short walk to the beach, and the wonderful restaurants and nearby shopping.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early, having arrived well before time in order to avoid the train strike. We were encouraged to report immediately any problems we might have at any time. The apartment, which was meticulously clean and well supplied, was very conveniently situated a short walk from the station. We didn't know until the last minute how many of us there were going to be, but they accepted that easily. We had a delightful few days there, a very convenient stepping off point for the Cinque Terre.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment in the town of Levanto - very central location. The apartment had one large bedroom and double sofa bed in the lounge room (which our sons used). Tiled throughout, very clean, on 4th floor (lift though so this is fine!) - plenty of linen, tv (mainly German channels),gas stove, washing machine etc. quite basic, but met our needs- and the owner's father met us at Villa Margherita b&b to take us to the apartment. He was lovely, very helpful.. Parking is possible (not much space!) so we left our car for the 3 days and walked everywhere - but so central. We also checked out with the owners father (very convenient! No need to go back to the b&b to hand keys in etc - as parking can be a nightmare). The apartment building was quiet, clean (and mainly residential which was nice). No wiFi, but can recommend the "Salty Dog" cafe about 1/2 block away for free wiFi and friendly service. Beach was only a few minutes away, and lots of restaurants, shops and supermarkets very close.
Probably a bit small for a family of 4 (kitchen a bit small to seat 4 people and having the sofa bed out filled the lounge room), but our kids are young so was fine for us, but if you ave older kids you would be better in onef the larger rental properties. Some of the power points were an older/different European connection, so couldn't always plug things in (but a few adaptors provided and we got there eventually!)
